Justice has prevailed

Thanks to a certain officer in my city's police department, the person who stole my checks and cashed them has been caught! Can you believe they were stupid enough to use their own drivers license and current address? My husband is feeling sorry for them now, but I am not.

YEA! No, I DO NOT feel sorry for them! I'm so glad they were caught! I had my purse stolen and they cashed over $600 worth of checks! The stupid people accepted MY Driver's license from THEM! HELLO people, LOOK at the picture!
I hope they get what's coming to them!

The used their own driver's license and address? That's bizarre AND incredibly stupid. Almost like they wanted to get caught.
I'm happy for you -- especially since they can't do anymore damage. Blessings, Kath

Thieves are incredibly stupid! YES! This is about the best thing I've heard in ages. I hope they give them the most severe punishment possible for the crime. People like that have no heart, no conscience and they could care less who they hurt. Make sure you inquire about them being charged FEDERALLY too....since they stole from a mailbox...which makes it a federal crime. Federal crimes usually carry harsher punishments.

Well. I hope they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And then some.

I oon't have an ounce of sympathy for them...like Dez said ...the people accepting the ID's should do a better job...on the back of our credit cards we sign them and write CHECK ID....but only about half of them ask for another form of ID...

I only feel bad that they choose to be thieves. I'm very happy that they were caught. Crime deserves punishment.
